CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Participation in Lone Pine Sports leagues emphasize fun and community.

  2. Every Lone Pine Sports league encourages sportsmanship and safety.

  3. Players, coaches, and fans are expected to uphold Christian values of charity, respect, and integrity both on and off the field.

  4. All participants should value honesty in play. Players are encouraged to assist referees and umpires in good faith when appropriate, while recognizing the referee has the final authority on all calls. Players should NOT try to get away with a mis-call simply because a referee is present.

  5. Lone Pine Sports leagues do not tolerate profanity, rowdiness, poor sportsmanship or dangerous play.  Such behavior can warrant ejection from a game or match.

  6. The Lone Pine Sports director and officials, or their liaison, have the ultimate authority to eject a player from a game.

  7. Any player, or non-playing spectator, who is ejected from a game will be suspended for at least one more game.

  8. Any player or non-playing spectator, who is ejected from a Lone Pine Sports a second time is subject to suspension from Lone Pine Sports indefinitely.  Any suspension is at the sole discretion of LPS.

  9. A player or non-playing captain who has been ejected from a game can be asked to leave the premises by any office or Lone Pine Sports representative, if the behavior continues to be a distraction.  Failure to leave could result in forfeiture of the game for their team.  Please be advised that spectators whom were invited by players and captains should adhere to ‘good behavior’ or they are subject to ejection from the premises as well.
